Successful education leaders can anticipate the impact of new regulatory requirements, a change in regional working life or the implementation of new technology within their institution. Innopeda® for Managers offers the latest theories and tools for making the change.
The training aims to guide participants through a holistic development process and to implement innovation pedagogy in their educational institution. The development process includes intensive training on-site or online.
The training may include staff exchange, site visits, strategy consulting and coaching.
Each Innopeda® for Managers participant generates a development plan for their institution, revised by Turku UAS’ Innovation Pedagogy experts. As the result, the managers have tools to analyze new educational culture and implement an educational change.

Innopeda® for Managers begins with the introduction to Finland, the Finnish Educational System and Turku UAS. After the introduction we continue with the basics of the innovation pedagogy framework: its main principles, cornerstones, innovation competencies and assessment.
Furthermore, the training discusses the organizational roles and management, leadership in change management and how to engage with sustainable future.
Itslearning LMS
Turku UAS provides access to itslearning LMS, an online learning environment. In addition, all learning materials are provided in electronic format for easy access and online.
The training includes workshops, collaborative work and visits to different learning environments.
By the end of the training, the managers have acquired an understanding about innovation pedagogy as a strategic approach and as a practical application at the institutional level.
The managers will also have adopted innovation competencies for their daily activities in the educational environment.
Finally, the managers can implement organizational changes, working towards a sustainable future of the institution and recognizing people in the changing process.
The training is conducted at EduCity Campus by various Innopeda expert trainers and other educational professionals.
It can also be organized at the client’s premises or entirely online.
